Who We Are
Safe Hands Support Services was founded in 2017. Francis, founder of Safe Hands set about developing the service to improve the experiences of Children being moved between Children’s Homes. As a former Children’s Homes Manager Francis felt that he could provide a far better experience for Young People during what is already an extremely anxious time.
The service started with one vehicle in 2017 and last year we invested in a fleet of vehicles to meet the needs of the cohorts of Young People we were supporting. We also diversified the delivery as a to meet commissioning partner’s needs.
The Safe Hands team receive enhanced training and vetting to equip them with the required skills to support Young People with a variety of needs.
Our Staff
We have recruited a team from a variety of backgrounds such as Children’s Residential Care, Mental Health practitioners, Nursing staff, Security staff and teaching staff and practitioners. We have selected team members from a diverse range of backgrounds and have developed links with a number of team members who speak a range of languages which can help significantly when settling Young People.
Every service we provide is bespoke to the needs of the client, we pride ourselves on evaluating the needs, risk assessing and providing dynamic solutions to support external colleagues in their time of need.
Response Time
We guarantee a 4-hour response time for any secure transport required. Requests for our other services can be mobilised promptly.
